FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF THE GULF COAST ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE RECIPIENTS OF ITS 4th ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

NAPLES, FL. July 2 – First National Bank of the Gulf Coast announced today the beneficiaries of their 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Naples Equestrian Challenge and Special Needs Fund of Collier County will split the proceeds raised at this year’s tournament. The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hideout Golf Club with a shotgun start at 8:30am. Lunch will be provided as well as a continental breakfast.

Naples Equestrian Challenge (NEC) offers therapeutic riding for adults and children with disabilities. Their Mission is to improve the lives of children and adults with special needs through therapeutic riding and other equine-related programs. NEC offers activities to address the physical, mental, and social challenges riders face. Riders come to NEC with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Stroke, Autism, Amputations, Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and a range of emotional, learning and developmental disabilities.

Special Needs Children’s Fund of Collier County focuses on improving the lives of children and young adults with physical and emotional disabilities in Collier County, FL. They serve these individuals and their families by assisting in offsetting the financial demands brought on by their disabilities and promoting access to resources.

“Since its inception in 2009, our annual charity golf tournament has given over $100,000 to local children’s charities. With the Bank absorbing all of the operating expenses of the tournament, 100% of the money raised through sponsorships and donations goes directly to the charities. We are excited for another successful tournament this October,” said President Garrett Richter.
