Development & Finance Coordinator

Reports To: Interim Executive Director
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC)

Position Overview

Naples Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development & Finance Coordinator to support both fundraising and financial operations. This role serves as a critical bridge between our Development and Finance functions—supporting the organization’s mission through accurate recordkeeping, strong systems management, and consistent donor stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

Development Operations

  • Maintain and manage the DonorView database with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Accurately enter all contributions, pledges, and recurring gifts—including checks, online donations, and rider payments.

  • Generate and send acknowledgment letters to support donor stewardship efforts.

  • Pull donor lists and reports to support campaigns and analyze giving trends.

  • Reconcile all donor and payment data with financial systems on a regular basis.

  • Assist with sponsorship tracking, ticketing, seating, and RSVP management in DonorView for major fundraising events.

  • Help manage silent and live auction data and tracking.

Finance Administration

  • Process all incoming payments, including rider fees, donations, and merchandise sales.

  • Accurately enter gift and earned revenue into QuickBooks using the iPad as part of daily reconciliation and reporting.

  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and payment of bills and invoices.

  • Track and code revenue and expenses to appropriate budget lines in coordination with the accounting team.

  • Manage organizational credit card activity, including tracking receipts and reconciling statements.

  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for all transactions.

Administrative & General Operations

  • Open and sort incoming mail, flagging any time-sensitive materials or donations.

  • Maintain organized and accessible digital and paper files for finance and development.

  • Track recurring administrative deadlines and support cross-departmental needs.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Executive Director and fundraising team as needed.

  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

  • Assist with special events and related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering)

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience using QuickBooks to process payments (training provided)

  • Comfortable tracking receipts and managing credit card documentation

  • Willingness to learn and use DonorView (training provided)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism

PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI)

Naples Therapeutic Riding Center in Naples, FL is seeking Part-Time Therapeutic Riding
Instructor to teach children and adults in individual and group Equine Therapy lessons.

Candidate Must:

  • Be PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI).
  • Be an effective communicator and team leader.
  • Be available to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Be a self-starter and able to step into a working system seamlessly.
  • Be capable of lesson planning and execution with the ability to incorporate grooming and tacking.
  • Be a keen observer and knowledgeable of equine behavior
