Volunteer Manager

Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) is seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Manager to join our team! 

In this full-time, exempt role, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission by overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of a dedicated volunteer force.  NTRC offers a rewarding work environment focused on making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with different abilities through therapeutic riding and horsemanship programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Recruitment and Development: Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit new volunteers. Manage the volunteer application process, screening interviews, and onboarding procedures.
  • Volunteer Training: Create and deliver comprehensive volunteer training programs, ensuring volunteers possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively support NTRC programs and participants.
  • Volunteer Management: Develop and maintain a volunteer schedule that aligns with program needs. Oversee volunteer assignments, provide ongoing support and guidance, and address any volunteer concerns.
  • Volunteer Recognition: Implement a program to recognize and appreciate volunteers for their time, dedication, and contributions to NTRC.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with NTRC staff, instructors, and therapists to ensure seamless volunteer integration into therapeutic riding sessions and other center activities.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate volunteer records utilizing a volunteer management database.
  • Additional Responsibilities: May assist with special events, fundraising initiatives, and other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (non-profit management, human resources, social work) or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Adult & Child CPR, First Aid and AED or willingness to complete required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer management or a related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs.
  • Experience using volunteer management software a plus.
  • Passion for NTRC’s mission and a commitment to serving individuals with different abilities.
  • Willingness to be a trained sidewalker and leader for NTRC Programs
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.

Compensation:

  • Competitive starting salary of $55,000 per year

Office Manager

The Naples Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Manager to join our team.

NTRC is a non-profit organization that enriches the lives of individuals with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization.

Responsibilities:
● Office Administration: Maintain office operations, including general IT support, ordering necessary supplies, scheduling maintenance of general office equipment.
● Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director and other staff members. This includes scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing presentations, and composing professional correspondence.
● Finance & Accounting: Process accounts payable and receivable, manage payroll, and assist with grant applications and budgeting. Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks preferred) is a plus.
● Volunteer Coordination: Assist with the oversight of a dedicated team of volunteers. Distribute, update and maintain volunteer schedules, coordinate volunteer assignments, and ensure a positive volunteer experience.
● Human Resources: Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members. Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with HR policies.
● Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility. Coordinate with vendors for repairs for the office environment and ensure a safe and functional environment.
● Marketing & Communications: Assist with marketing and communication efforts. This may include developing marketing materials, managing social media accounts, and updating the NTRC website.
● Donor Relations: Contribute to donor relations by assisting with fundraising efforts. Assist in processing donations, acknowledge contributions, and generate reports.
● Other duties as assigned by Executive Director

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (preferred)
● Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar office management role
● Strong organizational and time management skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
● Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Passion for NTRC’s mission and a commitment to serving individuals

● Familiarity with medical billing and medical office management a plus

Compensation:
