Information for Active Therapeutic Riders

Who is an active therapeutic rider at Naples Therapeutic Riding Center?

This page is for riders—and often their parents or guardians—who are currently enrolled in therapeutic riding lessons at Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC).

Riding Schedule

The Therapeutic Riding Schedule includes class times by group name and a list of pre-scheduled holidays when NTRC is closed. The Program Director will inform you of your riding day and time for your weekly riding lesson reservation. A calendar will be provided at the start of season.

  • Lessons are held Monday–Thursday and Saturdays

  • No lessons on Fridays or Sundays

  • Summer Schedule: Due to heat and summer camps, there is no therapeutic riding June through August. In August, the horses take a break from all programs.

  • The 2025–2026 season begins September 15, 2025

  •  The 2025-2026 Season is a full calendar riding schedule.  A rider’s reservation for lessons will be weekly starting in September and concluding in May.

Annual Renewal Paperwork

All active riders must complete and return renewal forms by August 1, 2025. Forms are available for pickup at the NTRC administrative office or by contacting the Program Director.

Thanks to generous community support, NTRC offers need-based scholarships to help cover the $50 per lesson fee.

  • All riders are already partially subsidized through donor support

  • Some riders may qualify for full or partial scholarships

A Legacy of Impact

Therapeutic Riding has been the heart of NTRC since it began in 1997. This life-changing program is made possible by individual donors and private foundations who believe in our mission and our riders. We are grateful for their support—and yours.
