Naples, FL — November 12, 2025 — Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) celebrated its 20th Anniversary Bootstrap Boogie Barn Dance with a record-breaking night of philanthropy, community spirit, and good old-fashioned country fun, raising more than $690,000 in net revenue, the highest total in the organization’s history.
Held under the covered arena adorned with string lights, hay bales, wagon wheels, and rustic charm, the event captured the authentic spirit of a true barn dance. The sold-out celebration on November 8, 2025, welcomed 280 guests and over 60 volunteers for an unforgettable evening of live music, dinner, dancing, and heartfelt giving in support of NTRC’s mission to improve lives through therapeutic riding and equine-assisted programs.
“It was an incredible night surrounded by great friends of the Center, great community, and great support,” said Michelle Schweber, Executive Director of Naples Therapeutic Riding Center. “It’s truly humbling to see how this community continues to show up for our riders, our herd, and our mission. I’ll give the night a big Yee-haw for sure!”
A Night of Unbridled Generosity
Presented by Health Care Logistics, the milestone event featured an exciting live auction highlighted by a luxury trip to Highlands, North Carolina, which inspired lively bidding and an unexpected twist — a competing donor in the crowd matched the winning bid, doubling the impact.
In one of the evening’s most extraordinary moments, Health Care Logistics’ own Connie and Gary Sharpe announced they would match the entire “Fund-A-Need” campaign, adding an additional $269,000 — a quarter-million-dollar boost that sealed the record-setting success and brought the crowd to its feet.
Leading supporters included Mission Champion Sponsors Shelley and Steven Einhorn, along with a host of community partners whose generosity helped make the 20th Anniversary celebration one for the history books.
A Community Effort
From the western décor to the live band and enthusiastic crowd, the night reflected the heart and teamwork that define NTRC. Board members, staff, and volunteers transformed the arena into a Western wonderland, ensuring every guest felt part of something special.
Every dollar raised directly supports NTRC’s equine-assisted programs and riders, providing vital therapeutic opportunities to children and adults with physical, social, and emotional challenges across Southwest Florida.
