May 8, 2025- We are deeply saddened to share that Blossom, one of our cherished herd members, passed away this week.
Though her time at NTRC was short, Blossom’s gentle spirit, steady presence, and kind heart touched so many. She had been living with a chronic condition, and despite thoughtful veterinary oversight and dedicated care, her comfort became increasingly difficult to maintain. The decision to let her go was made with love and her well-being at the center, in alignment with our responsibility as PATH Intl. professionals to safeguard the welfare of the animals who serve alongside us.
We are especially grateful to all who followed and supported Blossom’s healing journey from her first hospitalization. Your care, encouragement, and kind thoughts have meant so much to our team. Additionally, we send sincere appreciation to all of the professionals who contributed to her care.
At NTRC, our horses are more than just part of the program — they are partners, teachers, and healers. Blossom was a treasured member of this team, and while we grieve her loss, we are grateful for the time we shared and the memories she leaves behind.
Beginning Friday, a memory board will be available in the community center for those who wish to leave a note, story, or photo in her honor. If you would like additional support or wish to share your reflections, please reach out to the NTRC team at (239) 596-2988 or program@ntrc.org.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Blossom’s life and for standing with us in this moment of remembrance.
